The Mirror is a Medicine

Yes… THE MIRROR.

A close look into it…
is the exact medicine we need.

As a society…
And as individuals.

The solution to the ailments and distortions that permeate our world lies in WE OURSELVES seeing ourselves in action.

We ourselves connecting the dots.
We ourselves catching ourselves in the act.

When clients come to me with a vexing problem they’re dying to get solved… I have INCREDIBLE compassion for the predicament they’re in.

Whether they’ve been victimized, targeted, abused, manipulated, and bullied unfairly… OR whether they have f-d up in some palpable, regrettable way.

I have profound compassion for victims and villains alike.

The solution I present to both victims and villains is the same:

Dare to look in THE MIRROR.

Dare to KNOW THYSELF.

Dare to see yourself in the bright light of truth!!

The solution to our problems is GROWTH.

As Jung put it, “we don’t so much solve our problems as outgrow them.”

So when clients come to me, with an urgent prayer of overcoming an obstacle or getting sprung from a bear trap…

I tune in to their areas of needed growth.
In to their blind spots.
In to the aspects of them that are magnetizing their problem to them, making them a match for the problem.

Most people require tremendous subtle-ness, gentleness, and patience…
IF they’re willing to see themselves in the light of truth at all.

The truth is incredibly bright to bear.
It hurts the eyes.
It messes with the mind.

There’s only so much truth that people are willing to take in.

People want their problems solved…
And yet they’re attached to their problems.

Most would rather keep their problem around than make the shifts in belief and behavior that would resolve the problem.

For those who truly want a solution, knowing what beliefs and behaviors to swap out in service to a desired outcome—aka, so they can live their best life—requires a long, lingering look in THE MIRROR.

You have to be willing to LOOK in the looking glass.
But most would rather double down on the story they’re currently running with.

Because “the truth hurts.”
Before it sets us free.

And by refusing to endure the pain the truth causes…

Our problems persist.

Love + Oneness,
Naomi
