Inauthenticity Equals Lying

We live in a world of lies, spin, deception, and manipulation.

We are called to be discerning and perceptive.

We must see the lies being dangled before us…

AND the lies *we* are telling.

For the lies *we* are telling… become the lies we see reflected out there in the world.

We tell lies—to be seen as someone we’re not—and this is replicated on a collective scale.

We subtly contort into how we wish to be seen…

We gently match ourselves to how we are expected to be seen…

And this gets reflected on the macro level, outside of ourselves.

Our endless angling gets mirrored for us in the culture… via the various ways people are being duped, deceived, mislead, misinformed, and manipulated, en masse.

We live, collectively, in a sea of endless spin.

And yet that very spin is occurring WITHIN ourselves as well.

As within, so without.
As above, so below.

Authenticity is the solution.

Being honest—with ourselves—is the solution.

Discovering and reclaiming who we actually are is the antidote to the endless angling and spinning.

As our true selves, there’s nothing to lose and nothing to prove. There’s no smoke and mirrors. There’s no performing. No concealing. No inadvertent OR deliberate spreading of outright falsehoods.

We no longer live mired in a web of lies.
We choose Truth.
And the truth sets us free.

Reclaiming our authenticity doubles as a reclaiming of our truth.

Honoring our authenticity doubles as a letting go of our false-self. It’s a death of our manufactured self.

Choosing authenticity becomes a soft sinking in to our True Place.

Our authenticity is a blessing upon everyone we encounter. It’s a beaming onto others an unbridled, unadulterated essence of who we truly are.

Better still, residing in the seat of our own authenticity becomes a powerful permission slip to others.

Our very presence will inspire everyone whose lives we touch to live as their authentic selves.

And ultimately—one person at a time—we will find ourselves living in a world that genuinely values authenticity.

We will find ourselves living in a world that places an ever higher priority on the Truth.

And what a sweet relief that will be for us all.
