If We Truly Want Change…

If we want to change the world…
We have to enter into the unknown.

We have to open our minds.
And more importantly, we have to open our hearts.

Because our world, as it currently is, is a reflection of our collective best handiwork.

All of us are doing the best we can…
yet all of us have our magic AND mess running the show.

All of us are proceeding with blindspots, flaws, sins, and omissions.

Meanwhile, our world mirrors our combined, comprehensive, collective thoughts, words, and deeds. All of ours… on a planetary scale.

Our individual outlooks, mindsets, and consciousnesses add up to a larger collective consciousness.

We all exist in that shared vat of soup.

To evolve… to progress… we must enter uncharted territory.

We have to UN-LEARN and UN-KNOW.

We have to topple our most dearly held sacred cows.
Question our presuppositions.
Seek HIGHER and TRUER truths.

For true global transformation to occur… we must truly transform as a human collective. We must truly transform our default thoughts, words, and deeds.

And the collective change we are praying for will happen one person at a time.

Each of us will pop like popcorn does, in our rightful timing, kernel by kernel.

World change, thereby, begins with we ourselves, as an individual.

It begins with us as one lone individual who can only ever know so much. For there’s always so much more that we could know.

There’s so much that we don’t know.

AND so much that we don’t know that we don’t know.

We’re forever in a learning process.

Forever on a learning curve in which we’re growing and expanding our breadth and depth.

And there is always so much more to learn.

So why not start to take it as a given that we only know so much, relative to all there is to be known?

Why not honor that our understandings of any given thing are only partial and in process?

Why not acknowledge that much of what we think we know is only half-cooked and half-baked within us?

Why not be humble right out of the gate?

Why not maintain a questioning spirit right out of the gate?

Why not retain an open mind right out of the gate?

Why not learn… once-and-for-all… that there is always more to learn?

Love + Oneness,
Naomi
